Brunswick Crossing:

Summer concerts at Brunswick Crossing have been in full swing this summer! After kicking off with Grand Opening festivities on May 15, the following  Saturday afternoons were spent under the “Three Sisters Trees” in Hope Farm park listening to the sounds of summer. Our kick-off band, Gallows Road, had everyone clapping and toe tapping despite the rainy weather.

Brunswick citizens and dignitaries, Pleasants Development, builders Ryan Homes and Advantage Homes as well guests from the greater Brunswick area all gathered the morning of May 15, 2010 to commemorate the official ribbon cutting ceremony of Brunswick Crossing. Speakers included Brunswick Mayor Carroll Jones,  Brunswick Planning Commission Chair Connie Koenig, Special Assistant to Senator Barbara Mikulski Julianna Albowicz, Pleasants Development’s President Don Pleasants and Senior Vice President Jerry Connelly.

Under bright blue skies over a thousand excited guests celebrated the long awaited opening of Brunswick Crossing, Frederick County’s newest master planned community. There was something for everyone; kids ran and played in Hope Farm Park where a moon bounce, tee-ball and fast pitch tested their agility and skills. Frederick Key’s Keyote and a balloon artist added to the fun. Some tested their skills on the rock climbing wall, while others enjoyed a tasty spitroasted BBQ dinner. With a light breeze to aid them, Wings Over Washington took their kites to sky – some flown so high they could be seen from nearby Route 340.

In addition to the festivities, families toured  5 fully decorated single family home models and the surrounding model home park at Brunswick Crossing. Builders Advantage and Ryan homes offered fun door prizes and desserts in each model.
