Over A Thousand Attend Brunswick Crossing’s Grand Opening

This Saturday, Pleasants Development, Inc. celebrated the opening of its newest master planned community, Brunswick Crossing. Over one thousand attended during the course of the day to commemorate the special occasion.

“We are overwhelmed by the support the community has shown us,” said Christina L. May, Marketing and Community Relations for Pleasants Development. “This is not just a special day for Pleasants Development, it is a day that belongs to the entire Brunswick community. The work shown today including the stunning stone entry features, inviting parks and beautiful landscaping is truly indicative of the quality and style this community offers.”

Festivities began at 10:30AM with a ribbon cutting ceremony, symbolically opening the community. Attended by over 100 local dignitaries and guests, Brunswick City Mayor Carroll Jones offered the opening remarks, and was then followed by Don Pleasants, President Pleasants Development, Connie Koenig, Chair of the City of Brunswick Planning Commission and Jerry Connelly, Senior Vice President Pleasants Development, all sharing thoughts and stories leading up to this historic day. Juiannna Albowicz of Senator Mikulski’s office was also on hand to mark the occasion with a Grand Opening proclamation from the Senator.

Brunswick Crossing Open for Business

Pleasants Development, Inc. is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their newest master planned community, Brunswick Crossing. The official ribbon cutting is set for 10:30AM Saturday morning with over 60 distinguished guests from the community expected to mark this special occasion.

“This is a very proud moment for Pleasants Development,” said Jerry Connelly Senior Vice President. “The community and our team have toiled for many years to achieve the opening of this new development”.

In the place of last winters high snow drifts are now beautifully landscaped tree-lined brick walkways, stone monuments and manicured park space. Infrastructure work continues at a steady pace in order to keep up with demand from eager homebuyers purchasing in Frederick’s newest master planned community. In addition to preparing to build new homes for future residents, Ryan Homes recently completed their Courtland and Michener II models, now joining the three fully decorated models by Advantage Homes. All five single family home models are now available for touring.
